Guest post! It's her birthday tomorrow so give her some love.
And
I’m back again, one last time, to bring you the last of
Avon’s matte polishes. Today, we’ve got Grey Cement.
I usually love me anything grey. Clothes, boots, polish. But Grey Cement doesn’t
quite do it for me. It might be the dull finish—this one’s much more like the formula of Black as Night rather than Violetta and Red Velvet—or the fact that the color’s kind of dull. Even the name—Grey Cement—brings to mind somewhat dull images.
Two coats, no base or top coat.
I have a very similar non-matte in Rescue Beauty Lounge’s Concrete Jungle. (Is anything else but concrete grey?) It’s lovely, and I wear it often. Perhaps I just don’t like matte greys. To each their own, of course. Will I never wear this again? Only time will tell. Gotta love mattes for their quick drying time. In a pinch, I think I might slap two coats of this on as I’m heading out the door, definitely.
Pic of the moment:
I ran across this photo in my
Pinterest dashboard and love it. I love, love, love this time of year.
Thanks so much for reading and commenting on my guest posts, and again to P for having me here!
